~ Women's Self-Defense ~

Many women live in fear of assault, and as a result they often limit their mobility in an effort to feel safe.  Because a woman can be attacked at any time and in any place, attempting to avoid all dangerous situations is an unrealistic solution.  Learning self-defense can be an effective way for you to reduce your fear of assault, heighten your self-confidence, and strengthen your personal safety. 


Learning how to keep yourself safe tends to reduce anxiety,  raise  self-esteem, and build confidence.  By making the learning and practicing of these important ideas a priority for ourselves and our loved ones, we can improve the safety and quality of our lives.  Contrary to the myth that you will only get hurt worse if you fight back, research shows that resisting is effective.  The only woman to escape serial rapist Ted Bundy was the one who fought back.  

 


Mr. White is sensitive to the concerns and issues of women.  He respects their experiences and fears and is very supportive and protective of his students. 
Training in class is about self-defense, physical fitness, weight control, and a healthy lifestyle.  Class provides realistic self-defense situations that can help a woman survive if she is attacked.  Mr. White teaches all self-defense techniques in a very safe manner.  Training in martial arts can prevent you from living in fear.
