Korean Martial Arts ~
Chinese martial arts place a great emphasis on animals by establishing whole systems around a single creature, like White Tiger Kung Fu, for example. Korea on the other hand, found animals as a whole to be a perfect example and source of fighting knowledge. Only certain Korean Martial Art systems have the principles of animal fighting styles as an integral part of the art...Kuk Sool, being the forerunner, a martial art with roots extending to the beginning of recorded Korean history, has the soul of many different animals.
In the practice of Kuk Sool, to merely imitate the animal is not good enough.
